So You Wanna Unlock iPhone 4?
Hi, Andrew here, and I want to show you how I found a way to Unlock iPhone 4 myself, using some software that is out there if you know where to look for it 
OK, so here's the deal...
I wanted to switch to another provider for my iPhone and was stuck for how to do it. I tried just putting in a sim card from another provider, but it didn't work, it just kept giving me an error message until I put my original sim card back in – really frustrating. I thought it would be simple to just put another card in and use another network (I was with the default provider, but I wanted to switch to another provider because they are much cheaper). I really do not know why we are stuck with one sim card by default with the iPhone, its really stupid if you ask me. Anyway, you'll be glad to know there is a way around it! I managed to Unlock iPhone 4 myself and now have another sim card provider!
How to Unlock iPhone 4

I did a little research into this and the only way I have found to UNLOCK IPHONE 4 without bricking it, spending a fortune, or sending your iPhone off to some random unlock service, is to use some software you can download online. This can be bought by clicking here

Thanks for blogging about this iphone fix, it really does work. I have an old(ish) iPhone 4 and it worked like a charm!
BTW – am I allowed to pass the software on to my brother so he can unlock his iPhone too? (he has an iPhone 3g)

As far as I can tell from the terms and conditions on the website you are allowed to unlock as many iphones as you like with the software, so it should be fine. Also, I’m told the software works on all iphone models.

I have an Iphone4, ATT, and I am planning a trip to Italy.
Question. If I unlock the phone, I assume I can get a simcard in Italy that will work there for local calls, at least. (Can use Skype when on line for International calls.)
When I return home, can I stick my ATT sim back in and will it work?

It should work, unlocking the iPhone should free it to switch between sim cards as often as you want.
